Nappy New Year!

Happy New Year!
Now we're in 2009! That's great! 2008 wasn't a good year for me anyway. I had big plans, and they were all scrubbed. I'm happy that two friends of mine, together with their parents, moved to the USA. I'm happy for them, although I miss them at the same time, and I guess the New Year's Eve wouldn't have sucked so badly if they were here. I'm keeping in touch with them on the Internet, so that's OK!
I've learned however, better than before, that you can't trust people too much, least you wanna' be disappointed.
I've also learned, to the same extent that: Once you gotta' do it right, you gotta' do it yourself. I like that line! It's from Blade 2, and it belongs to Ron Pearlman's character,... Except in the actual movie, it comes with: "Like my daddy said... right before he killed my mom..." before it. That doesn't make the DIY line not true though.
And there's the point: Why would you have others do, something that you don't wanna' do, for you? Especially since it's in your interest, not theirs.
I've also learned that the people who can't take advice, always insist on giving it, and that people who complain about EVERYthing, don't wanna' see you complain about ANYthing.
I've learned that things such as alcohol, tobacco, food, love, ...whatever, are not necessarily bad. It's the addiction and the excess that are bad.
I've learned that you shouldn't waste your time trying to understand people who can't understand themselves, 'cause you might forget about yourself and your needs.
Care only about the things that matter and have a realistic and practical use, not the ones that don't. After all, the cherry on top of the cake, counts for nothing without the cake underneath it( conceptually speaking).
I guess I'll be running away from the people who think of the cherry as the main thing, there's no reasoning with them. The one thing I hate more than seeing the Don Quixote fighting with the windmills scene happening in modern society, is it happening to me.
OK, so I've learned quite a few things from year 2008, but I'm happy about one thing: IT'S ALL OVER!
I'll face the new year with a new attitude!

The Dude's Daily Blog Has Been Created!

Great! Am creat primul meu blog, iar sincronizarea nu putea fi mai buna: criza financiara internationala, revolte in Grecia, tot felul de probleme si probleme de tot felul. Pe scurt: o multitudine de teme de discutie. Au existat dubii, privind tipul de blog, am oscilat intre blogspot si wordpress, si mai ales cand am ajuns la conditiile de utilizare si nu am putut omite paragraful in care se interzice continutul care incita la ura, ceea ce... va fi o oarecare problema in cazul meu! Eu sunt genul de tip care-si spune opiniile, insa avand in vedere ca in cazul unora, o opinie( mai ales daca vine sub forma unui sfat cu caracter benevolent) este perceputa ca un injuriu, existenta unui astfel de paragraf, si mai ales, a conditiilor sale ambigue, nu e de mirare. Uneori, mai trec limita bunului simt, spunand lucruri nepotrivite persoanelor nepotrivite, si apoi am mustrari de constiinta, dar de obicei am grija ce spun. Long time, no post.

There was little or no time for blogging since the previous post, so no article was written. I did a lot. I finished college, and I got my Bachelor's degree. I learned how important it is to do things at the right time and not stall them. I just didn't feel like working on my Batchelor work, so I had to finalise it in the last three weeks before I checked it in. I wrongly estimated the quantity and quality of information that I had to obtain in order to write about Kosovo's Independence, and the conflicts between Serbs and Albanians, as it being too small. When I effectively started writing on the work, I found out just how much information I had, and that there was no way I'd fit all of that in about 100 pages and in such a short time. In the few days before I finished it, I actually deleted some stuff, because it would have been too big. I had to work on it the very day before I checked it in, then through the night and into the morning, when I felt half asleep and ha

Referendumul de la început de Octombrie... sau cum Dragnea e mai deştept decât noi

La începutul lui Octombrie, avem un referendum pentru a redefini căsătoria. În constituţie scrie că se realizează între soţi, iar Dragnea cică vrea să păstreze Familia Tradiţională şi să se modifice legea astfel încât să se definească între bărbat şi femeie. Mă deranjează faptul că acest referendum este o grămadă de bani daţi pentru a îndrepta atenţia oamenilor de la o guvernare ineficientă, şi că funcţionează pentru oamenii care consideră adevărat tot ce spune Dragnea. Ceea ce mă deranjează cel mai mult este faptul că oamenii care se opun lui Dragnea s-au lăsat ademeniţi într-o discuţie care dincoace şi dincolo de referendum se desfăşoară de dragul de a se desfăşura şi rezultatele practice sunt aceleaşi.  Adică, comunitatea LGBT din România va trăi şi cu şi fără referendum la fel, adică în relaţii, dacă vrea, dar fără căstătorie. Deci, dacă referendum-ul trece, viaţa merge la fel ca acum, iar dacă referendum-ul nu trece, viaţa merge la fel. Care este efectul dis
